TLDR: 2.03 Sandwiches per day

Went and updated the Work! Places! and Pics for Mom! sections.

What happened in January..? Welllllll so with the new administration, there's been some changes in the Peace Corp and more probably on the way. Anything and everything related to DEI has been removed from training manuals, websites, social media, etc. All PC social media accounts have deleted any posts related to DEI and are no longer posting until they receive updated guidelines. I'm not a DEI expert by any means but if I had pick somewhere to implement inclusivity and diversity training, an international org that focuses on intercultural exchange seems like a good place. My views reflect that of the federal government. pee pee poo poo.

Here's some more info about how the PC has been affected by the new administration.

The good news is that we're all still here, no one's getting sent home (yet). It sounds like PC as an agency operates independently to not be affected by the dismantling of federal international aid. TBD on how that statement holds up. I'm curious if recruitment for new volunteers will continue. I am trying to stay up to date but am not the best resource for this topic.

Other Life Updates
